AU Zenith Credit Card: rewards, caps and exclusions

What it earns

≈ marks a rate paid in points, valued at ₹0.2 a point. That is Zenidhi's conservative valuation, the same one the audit uses: the cheap end of what the points can be redeemed for, never the best transfer. Redeemed well, they can be worth more.

What earns nothing

Spend in these categories earns no rewards on this card, however it is paid for:

• Cash withdrawals and fees
• Rent
• Education fees
• Government payments
• EMI conversions
• Fuel
• Railway bookings
• Tolls

What costs extra

Worse than earning nothing: AU Small Finance Bank charges a fee for these.

• 1% on Rental Spends (domestic), at least ₹99, plus GST
• 1% on Utility Spends, plus GST
• 1% on Fuel Spends, plus GST
• 1% on Education spends through third-party apps, at least ₹99, plus GST
• 1% on Transportation (local commute, passenger railways, tolls), plus GST

Milestones

In AU Small Finance Bank's own words:

• "Earn 1,000 Bonus Reward Points on achieving minimum spending of Rs. 50,000 or more within a statement cycle." (product page; FAQ: "This benefit will be applicable from 1st January 2026") → 1,000 RP
• "Earn 2,500 Bonus Reward Points on completing one retail transaction on your birthday." → 2,500 RP (birthday)

Fees

• Annual fee: ₹7,999, plus 18% GST
• Joining fee: ₹7,999
• Annual fee waived on ₹5,00,000 of spend in a card year
