Your bank emails you a statement every month. We read that PDF and turn it into a list of your spends. Nothing to upload, nothing to type in.

The bank paid 772 points. We worked out 756. We can tell you exactly where the 16 went — and that matters more than a perfect match.

This card pays its 5X a month late — so 560 of the bank's bonus is for last month.

What we can see —
and what we can't.

  • Read-only

We can read. We cannot send, reply, delete or edit anything.

  • Your password never reaches us

You sign in on Google's own page. We only ever get a read token.

  • Statement mail, not your inbox

We ask Google for mail from your bank — not for everything else.

  • Cut us off in one click

Revoke at Google any time, without telling us first.

  • Revoking deletes what we read

Your spend history goes when the connection does. No spare copy.

  • No affiliate money

Nobody pays us to push a card, so we have no stake in the answer.

What we do with your data, in full — the exact permission we ask for, and what we store.

Questions people ask.

Why do you need Gmail access?

Your card statements arrive in your inbox as PDFs. We read those to build your spend timeline — so there is nothing to upload and no bank login to hand over. Access is read-only: we cannot send, edit or delete your mail.

Is my email safe?

Yes. You sign in on Google's own page, so we never see your password. You can cut off our access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions — you don't need to ask us — and we delete what we read when you do.

What is the 'unverified app' warning?

Google shows that warning for every app still in testing. You are on our tester list, so you are expected. Tap Continue and you're in. We can't remove it during the beta, and it is not a security problem.

Which banks work today?

We read statements from HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, HSBC and IDFC FIRST. Our rulebook covers 42 cards across 11 banks. You can add a card from any other bank by hand to see all your spend in one place — we just can't read its statement yet.

What does it cost?

Free during the beta, and we haven't set a price yet. When we do it will be a flat fee — never a share of what we find, and never a referral fee for moving you onto a new card. Both would give us a reason to bend the answer. The first 100 testers keep free access through the beta.
